Bank Announces Staff and Grand Opening For Kinderhook-Valatie Branch

KINDERHOOK-VALATIE, NY – The Bank of Greene County is pleased to announce that Kristen Schiffer will be the Branch Manager for their new office opening in Kinderhook-Valatie.  Kristen has over 12 years of banking experience and has lived in Columbia County for 19 years.  James Farrell will be joining Kristen as the Assistant Manager.  James grew up in the Town of Kinderhook and graduated from Ichabod Crane High School.  They are both looking forward to working in the Kinderhook-Valatie area.

The grand opening for the new Kinderhook-Valatie branch will be Saturday, July 27th from 9am to 1pm.  The opening will have a beach party theme with many grand opening specials and promotions including refreshments & raffle prizes, music with the Oldies 93.5/98.5 the CAT, chicken BBQ, ice cream with the Columbia County Dairy Princess, and safety checks with Valatie Rescue Squad.  The Columbia County Chamber will be on hand to help the Bank celebrate with a ribbon cutting at 12pm.

The Kinderhook-Valatie branch will be the Bank’s first office in that market and the sixth in Columbia County.  The new branch is a full service office including free wifi, 24 hour ATM, safe deposit boxes, and plenty of parking.  The office is located at 2827 Route 9, in the Ocean State Job Lot Plaza and will be open Monday through Wednesday from 9:00am to 4:30pm, Thursday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm.  For additional information, call the Kinderhook-Valatie branch at (518) 758-6911.
