Bank Provides First Aid/CPR Course to Employees

CATSKILL, NEW YORK – In memory of an employee who recently passed away, the Bank of Greene County offered all employees the opportunity to attend an American Heart Association First Aid and CPR Course.  The Bank partnered with Columbia-Greene Community College to schedule the classes.  The course focused on recognizing emergencies, prioritizing care, rescue breathing, wounds, and CPR. The class was designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illness until advanced medical personnel arrive.  All the participants were appreciative of the chance to learn the skills needed in the event of an emergency.
