The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act allocates funds to help small businesses keep workers employed during the pandemic and economic downturn.  Known as the Paycheck Protection Program, this initiative provides federally guaranteed loans to small businesses who maintain their payroll during this time.

At the Bank of Greene County, we are monitoring the situation regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) and our number one priority is the safety of our customers, employees and our communities.  Please be aware that we are closely following the hygiene recommendations from government health authorities.

With your health in mind, beginning Friday, March 20, all Bank of Greene County lobbies will temporarily be closed until further notice except by appointment only.  We understand your access to money is extremely important. We will continue to serve you from our drive-up windows.  Our 24-hour digital banking tools will remain available for your convenience.  You may check your balance, pay bills and transfer money online or with the Bank of Greene County mobile app.  New accounts may be opened online or via telephone from the comfort of your home.  In addition, deposits may be made via our ATMs and our Night Deposit boxes.
