Bank Announces Food Pantry and Community Organization Donations

Donald E. Gibson, President & CEO of the Bank of Greene County, announced Bank donations to local food pantries and community organizations, in conjunction with employee donations and matching funds from Ceto and Associates, a Financial Institution Consulting Firm.

Donald Gibson stated: “The Bank of Greene County is proud to support local food pantries and community organizations in our area.  We also want to thank our employees for their additional contributions this Holiday Season, as well as Ceto for their professional partnership and dedication to our community.”  Cheryl Ceto, VP of Talent Acquisition and Community Outreach at Ceto and Associates stated “We believe community financial institutions are pillars of their local communities, and as such, have a tremendous impact on the markets they serve. Community organizations receiving donations from the Bank of Greene County and Ceto and Associates this Holiday Season are Community Action, Matthew 25, People’s Place, Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York, and Rolling Grocer 19.

Bank of Greene County employees were also happy to make personal donations, and participate in an “Ugly-Sweater Dress-Down Day.”
