Donald Gibson, President & CEO of the Bank of Greene County, announces employee promotions across the Bank. Donald Gibson stated: “Due to the continued growth and success of the Bank, it is my pleasure to announce we have promoted several dedicated employees to positions of increased responsibility within various departments. It is particularly rewarding when all of the employees promoted are from within our company, and have grown with us over the years.”
Justin Goldman has been promoted to Vice President of Commercial Lending & Business Development. Justin has been with the Bank for 9 years, and has held positions of increased responsibility in both the Branch network and Lending area. He is also a graduate of the Bank’s Management Training Program. Justin holds a Bachelor’s degree from Colgate University, and lending certificates from the Center for Financial Training. He also completed a fellowship with the Good Work Institute. Justin is a former Board Member of the Columbia County Habitat for Humanity, and O+ Festival. He currently serves on the Boards of the Columbia Economic Development Corporation, Hudson Hall and Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce. He lives in Hudson with his wife and two children, and enjoys downhill skiing, playing tennis and long distance running on trails in the Catskill or Shawangunk Mountains.
John Heitzman has been promoted to Investment Officer. John has been with the Bank for 6 years, and has held positions of increased responsibility in the Investment Services department. He holds an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from SUNY Ulster and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from SUNY New Paltz. He lives in Red Hook and enjoys cooking, mountain biking and going on fishing adventures with his wife and sons.
Heather Davis has been promoted to Senior Accountant. Heather has been with the Bank for 10 years, and held positions of increased responsibility throughout the Bank. She is also a graduate of the Bank’s Management Training Program. Heather holds an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Hudson Valley Community College and a Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. Heather currently resides in Catskill and enjoys traveling, kayaking, and spending time with her three nieces.
Steven Hickey has been promoted to IT Business Analyst within the Bank’s IT Department. Steve has been with the Bank for 7 years, and held positions of increased responsibility in both the Branch Network and IT Department. He has an Associate’s degree in Computer Science from Columbia-Greene Community College and lives in Catskill.
Sharon Haher has been promoted to Branch Manager of the Wolf Road branch. Sharon joined the Bank in mid-2023, and attended New Berlin Central School and SUNY Oswego where she majored in Psychology. She lives in Guilderland and enjoys cross stitching and spending time with her two 100 pound German Shepherds.
