Bank Announces Small Business Recovery Grants to Local Non-Profit Organizations

Donald E. Gibson, President & CEO of the Bank of Greene County, announced grants to local non-profit organizations this Holiday Season as part of the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York’s Small Business Recovery Grant Program.

Don Gibson stated “The Bank of Greene County is proud to support local food pantries and community organizations in our area, and want to thank the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York for their Small Business Recovery Grant Program and dedication to the community. This program is specifically designed for non-profit organizations that have faced economic challenges, and it is my pleasure to announce that seven local non-profit organizations throughout our community will be receiving grants.”

Community organizations receiving grants as part of the Small Business Recovery Grant Program are Community Action of Greene County, Hudson Hall at the historic Hudson Opera House, the Mac-Haydn Theatre, Matthew 25, Mount Marion Fire Department, Inc., Ulster County Community Action Committee, Inc., and the YMCA of Kingston & Ulster County.

The Federal Home Loan Bank of New York helps community lenders in NJ, NY, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands advance housing and community growth.
